Because you stayed

Some days feel heavier than others—like the weight of all your roles, responsibilities, and worries gather at your feet. As moms, creators, nurturers, and believers, it’s easy to feel like we need to be everything for everyone.

But here’s the truth: You are not meant to carry it all alone.

In Jeremiah 17:7-8, we’re reminded:

“Blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in Him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream.”

I picture that verse every time life feels too fast, too full. A wildflower standing tall—rooted not in perfection or control, but in grace. And grace is enough.

Today, I’m choosing to grow—not by striving, but by trusting.

Trusting that God fills in the gaps when I feel like I fall short.

Trusting that His plan holds steady when mine unravels.

Trusting that my purpose is not defined by how “together” I appear, but by the steady growth that happens in my heart each day I keep showing up.

So friend, if today feels like a stretch—like you’re trying to bloom in hard soil—know that even in the struggle, you are still growing. Still becoming. Still deeply loved.

Take a deep breath. Let grace cover you. And keep growing, one rooted step at a time.

Proverbs 3:5 — “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.”

And when the day winds down and the house finally quiets, I hope you feel proud of how far you’ve come. Not because everything went perfectly—but because you stayed. You prayed. You poured out love. You reached for God, even when it felt like you were running on empty.

Your roots are deepening. Your branches are reaching. And the beauty that’s blossoming in you? It’s sacred.

With lots of love,

Chastity
